~ ABOUT THE PATTERNS ~ 

All my doll clothes patterns have been drafted and tested many times with various different fabrics to fit the specific doll they are being sold for.

A lot of my patterns can be assembled many different ways for many different looks.  Not all looks have examples shown on the envelopes, but your imagination will make your outfits unique.  Many of the pattern pieces are interchangeable from one pattern to another pattern.  For example you can take a bodice from one pattern and attach it to bottoms from another pattern and various other switches you might like to try.

The instructions included with my patterns are written assuming nothing.  I extensively walk  you through all steps of construction without being wordy.  I offer email support on all construction questions which are usually answered within hours of asking.  Even fairly beginning sewers should be able to successfully complete designer looking garments for their dolls.

 ~ ABOUT THE DESIGNER ~

HI ~ My name is Elaine Peters and I sell under the Logo "Eli" (pronounced ~Ellie)   I started my professional life as a Medical Technologist, which probably made me more of a perfectionist than is healthy for any one person, except that my customers love the exactness of the directions!  I then moved into the world of motherhood where I stayed home and raised 4 sons .  Although I never got to play with dolls while they were growing up, I am now making up for lost time.  The best part is that so far I do not have to share my toys just yet! I have sewn for more years than I care to count, but for those of you who like numbers, it is in the 45+ years range.  My experience has been in designing and sewing everything from clothes, tailored suits, upholstery, slip covers, drapery, curtains, and costumes for theatres, ballets, and operas.  Along all these journeys, I have picked up many techniques specialized for those particular industries and have incorporated many of them into the construction techniques used in my patterns.
